POLAR
CIRCADIAN RHYTHM
TURNING INVISIBLE BODY SIGNALS INTO SOMETHING YOU CAN SEE
CHALLENGE
Polar is a wearable sports technology brand trusted by athletes but largely unknown beyond them.
With the launch of its new smart watch Ignite 3, the brand needed to move beyond performance tracking and show the value of sleep and recovery in a way that resonated outside of sport.
IDEA
A collaboration with data artist Kirell Benzi, celebrating people’s unique circadian rhythms through a visual language.
Three Ignite 3 users with different routines became the subjects of personalised artworks that resembled readable/interpretable flowers, with each petal communicating an invisible signal from the body that translated the users heart rate, body movement and sleep cycles into a picture about their lifestyles.
EXECUTION
The project launched through a global embargoed media moment and livestreamed reveal, positioning the work as both an art collaboration and a product story.

Exhibition-ready visuals, seeding kits, and campaign assets rolled out across lifestyle, culture, and tech media.
Local markets activated the work through exhibitions, press, and creator partnerships.
OUTCOME
REACH
169M total reach across global and local media.
COVERAGE
400+ pieces of coverage spanning lifestyle, culture, and tech press.
BRAND IMPACT
Moved Polar beyond a performance-oriented sports audience into a lifestyle audience, opening up a new space for the brand to exist in.
